Where Are We All? - Posted to SC FANATIC AND LOZZAS MEGA BLOG by Scfanatic
Hey Guys, Been a long lay off, we have been hibernating for the winter weeks post the rd. 14 fallout - hope we all made satisfactory trades for Barlow - well in reality there was only one trade to make if we didn't have him - Swannie - right? Selwood next in the pecking order, followed by Cross or Judd. Pendles and those Sainters have been a little down but they should still florish in the run home - we trust? Personally I.. (Read More)
217 Roos (SC Team of R12) - Posted to Musings of an unsuccessful supercoach by Ossie85
Kangaroo Lindsay Thomas does a Jason Gillespie and makes his first century of the year a double, and Jack "Roo jnr" Riewoldt matches him with 10 goals. Two double centuries in one round, and they are the exact same score! What are the odds? Score: A massive 3,460 Captain: Lindsay Thomas* Vice-Captain: Jack Riewoldt* * - Thomas and Riewoldt both scored 217, but as Thomas is the cheaper option, he is selected Captain. A gorgeous couple, Lindsay Thomas (the actress) and Jack Riewodlt B: Xavier Ellis (117), Scott D. Thompson (152), Nick Malceski (136) HB: Luke Hodge (156), Brendon Goddard (142),.. (Read More)
Supercoach Hall of Fame - Posted to Jake's YSCC Sub-Blog by Jakes
In celebration of the very special performance by Gary Ablett this week, I've decided to start the SC Hall of Fame. This special club is for those who have managed the impressive feat of scoring 200 in a single game. If you think about it its probably about the equivalent of kicking 10 goals, racking up 45 disposals or kicking the winning goal; IT JUST DOESNT HAPPEN VERY OFTEN! Was bored one night so I trawled through pretty much anyone who could possibly have scored a double ton so am pretty confident I've got them all, but if you think.. (Read More)
Hello world! - Posted to Steele on the Side by Steele22
Hey guys, Abs of Steele here from various websites and guess what? I've decided to do my own blog! I have no idea what I am going to write about, but once a week I will try to get something out. For those that don't know me, I finished 38th last year. This year however, has been a completely different story so feel free to ignore anything I say! I've made some errors, some unlucky, some stupid and am hovering around 10k at the moment. Hopefully things can turn around or I might need to focus on next season! I'm not sure what.. (Read More)
The players who have come from nowhere(Part 1) - Posted to Carsot's SuperCoach Rant by Carsot
In this post I'll be analysing some of the more obscure breakouts of 2010. These are the players who you never expected to become any good at fantasy footy and some who until this year many wouldn't of even heard of! Jarred Moore(Sydney) 2010 average: 93 Now this one is a real doozy, drafted back in 2004 but only really breaking from the reserves in 2008, Moore is still in 2010 a relative unknown despite slotting into the swans forward line each week. He is a nuggety little player who doesn't really possess any flashy attributes, or kick a huge amount of goals(about 40 goals.. (Read More)
Super Cheap - Posted to Super cheap by Andrew
Hi guys, I thought I might take a quick look at some super coach bargains this week that we must be considering for inclusion into our sides in the coming weeks. BACKS: I think its fair to say that over all the back line has been a place that has not given too many coaches any headaches this season, but lets take a look at few bargains just the same. Nick Malceski I will make this nice and simple for you, if you don't have him its not too late. At only $446,400 and an.. (Read More)
What a shocker! - Posted to Watto's SC 2010 by Watto
I would be happy just to get 2000 this week. First of all, super-captain and permanent 250+ point scorer (as captain obviously), Ablett is out. Combine that with Sam Mitchell, Dustin Martin, Shuey, Banner, Boyd, Corey, Moles, Dangerfield, Warnock, Lobbe, Trengove (PA)...it goes on Then JKT pulls out a 14, Tippett another dismal 57, Hall just 31 against the Brick Wall that is the St Kilda Backline, Vince only 69. Far out! At least Brown (143), Hodge (118), Malceski (120), Gia (114), ROK (96) and Goddard (98 as my captain) have shown some.. (Read More)
Underpicked Guns - Posted to A Little Out There by Hellopplz
Just wanted to write a little piece on a couple of guys who i consider severly underpicked. Paul Duffield – with a tad over 10,000 picks he seems to be quite unique. coming off a break out year is always something to be cautious about but when a player can run and kick like him, doesn’t seem like a big risk. He was great last year and this year shows no signs of slowing down. Heath Scotland – The guy is a possession machine. started this year with 2 30+ possession games. Only in 7,500 teams so is very unqiue. Is 30 mind you but.. (Read More)
Trade week Ruc|Fwd - Posted to Superdupercoach by Lachlan
Again, into the trades that you'll want to be looking at before the price change happens. But first, I'd like to ask a question to you guys: What do you reckon I ought to do with Tippett? He'd be gone if not for the fact he is up against Melborne. Anyways, no doubt you're reading this to get advice, not to give it. Here it comes: Ruck: There aren't many blokes you MUST be on in the ruck, but there are however many that you'd want to be jumping off. For that reason I'm going to structure this a bit differently. Mustn't: Cox,.. (Read More)
