Before Collingwood’s Team review is posted.
I would like to make my own.
PRESEASON HYPE
Luke Ball, $457,100 – The Newly pie crossing over from St Kilda has got everyone talking. At hes price his a serious lock. Priced at 457 with a average of 86 last year. Ball is coming off a very good preseason and crossing over to Collingwood should make hes scores bigger in 2010. Ball knows how to score and is very capable of scoring big scores. Back in 2005 had a average of 116, Ball should be scoring 100+ this year. Lock him in !
Darren Jolly $493,200 – Jolly another one people have been talking about. Traded from Swans last year and is fitting very nicely in Collingwood. Jolly has been improving his average in supercoach every year from 2006. There is no reason he can improve once more. The big man dominates the taps and has showed he can find the ball, Jolly will also be playing/resting down forward which should be helping hes scores. Averaged 92 last year and priced at 493 could be too much, But is one you should be considering.
The Bargain
Paul Medhurst $320,400 – Medhurst could be risky. But is a bargain at hes price if hes back to his best. Coming off a good Preseason, Stared in the intraclub match kicking 5. Then backing it up with a good performance against St Kilda in the NAB Cup scoring 101 points. Averaged 60 last year but scores were low with a injury interrupted season. If hes back to hes best should be averaging back to hes 2008 best 88.
The I Told You So
Sean Rusling $161,700 – Rusling just doesn’t know how to make it on the field. Great talent and can score big. But just doesn’t have the luck on he’s side. Maybe next year if there is one?
The Rookie
Jarrad Blight $100,200 – Collingwood don’t really have a rookie atm. Blight had good reports at the start of Pre Season and end of 2009. But has seem to drop off the radar a bit. Wasn’t named in the NAB Challenge match side on the weekend which is a worry. Other Collingwood Rookie options – Ben Sinclair, Jarred Blair. But far too many other Fantasy midfielders ahead of them two. Blight is your best bet if your looking at a Collingwood rookie but I would pass for now. Could make it in the side later in 2010
The Smokey
Harry O’Brien $374,200 – O’Brien one who is flying under the radar atm. Is smashing preseason and is in real good form. O’Brien has been improving hes supercoach average year by year. With last year averaging 70.4. O’Brien role looks to be changing a little. Adding more run and carry to hes game, Which will defiantly help hes supercoach scores. O’Brien scored very well in the NAB Cup scoring 91 points against St Kilda. Last week in the Challenge match being named in the best players. Not too sure on he’s scoring numbers tho. Harry Could be a Smokey this year. And is well priced one to look out for.
The Superstar
Scott Pendlebury $595,200 – Pendlebury is a superstar. Will improve and score bigger numbers this year. Coming off a great preseason and defiantly over hes broken leg injury suffered late 2009. Enough said LOCK HIM IN!

Reckon Sidebottom worth a look
Nice write-up Bruce!
Ball: ‘Back in 2005′ – That’s 5 years ago, a bit too long for my liking
Jolly: ‘…also be playing/resting down forward which should be helping his scores’ – I can hardly see that helping him
And learn to spell/type would be good
Bit harsh on the spelling mate
Didn’t see to many red lines on spell check .Yes it was 5 years ago. But i still believe he can be back to that best, Only 25 and is fit and firing. In a new team will be out to make a point.
And thank you lozza
